Emminger,
Hyatt, Newton & Pigeon, Inc. (EHNP) is a full service
real estate appraisal and consulting firm specializing in all phases
of real estate valuation and evaluation. The company services all
areas of New York State and the surrounding states from our office
in Buffalo, New York.
The firm was founded in 1986 by Thomas H. Newton and Roger P. Pigeon,
and was known as Buffalo Appraisal Associates. For the first ten years,
the firm, was primarily a commercial and industrial appraisal shop
doing a variety of appraisal work for governmental and lending institutions.
In 1995, Joseph H. Emminger, and Jeffrey L. Hyatt, SRA joined the
firm and the firm name was changed to EHNP.
As real estate appraising is more dependant on the individuals performing
the appraisal, rather than the firm, EHNP's intention is to build
an appraisal and support staff that has the highest regard for quality.
Our appraisal staff, which includes an MAI (Member of the Appraisal
Institute), are all state licensed or certified appraisers. Our staff
reflects the company's continuing emphasis on leadership and education.
By relying on the background and experience of our staff, we can provide
our clients a quality appraisal in a timely and cost-effective manner.
EHNP is a highly diverse appraisal company serving a variety of commercial,
industrial and residential clients. These clients include both local
and national mortgage lenders, insurance companies, municipalities,
attorneys, state and federal agencies.
